Meet sweet baby Lee! Lindsey and Rob are such blessed parents with such a precious little boy! He was so easy and calm for the shoot and his hair is just too cute! I’m trying to decide on which of these is going to get printed for my office!

Let me start out by saying that this sweet little girl was sooo amazing! As a general rule, I typically shoot newborns when they are less than 14 days old–beyond that it is much harder to get the poses and images that parents want when they look through my newborn photography. However, Harper was just shy of a month old when we did her pics(she had been in NICU, so we had to wait!). But we got such wonderful pics of this sweet girl. Literally the second click of my camera caught her in a sweet smile Congrats Scott and Tiffany on such a beautiful and precious little girl!

Ben, Ashley, and Gibson are so very dear to our hearts! One of the biggest bummers about leaving FW was leaving our dear friends. We cherish the time we get to spend with them when we are in the DFW. When we were in town for the Cowtown(where Allen ran his first half-marathon!!), we were able to spend some quality time with these peeps. We even got to head out for a photo shoot before we took the boys to the zoo…I absolutely LOVE this family and these pics!(So maybe I chose a lot of faves!) Miss you guys so very much–hope you love what you see!

Oh how sweet this little boy was!! He was wide awake when we started the shoot, but after a few pics, some eating, some rocking, and some more eating, he passed out and was putty in my hands for like 2 hours! Seriously. This kid slept through A LOT–too sweet. Loved getting shots with his mommy and daddy…so much love! I think the shot with the Raider Red hat is just too much!–I was going to leave then saw that hat so we had to get a few more!(Why not, he was still asleep!). Enjoy!

Lindsey and Rob are expecting a new little addition next month, and I was blessed to be able to capture the beauty that Lindsey is as she is expecting her baby! While the weather was not ideal(it was pretty freezing and wet!), these two were the ultimate troopers as we braved the cold…you’d have never known it! Thanks guys for such a fun shoot and braving all the elements to get some fabulous shots! I kind of had way too many favorites

Oh how sweet this little one is! I have known Sara since college, and was blessed to have photographed her and Wes’s wedding back in 2010, did her maternity photos, and now this sweet little girl gets to grace your computer screen! It took some convincing, but she finally passed out for us and let us have some fun. She just makes me smile–oh so precious! Congrats Sara and Wes on such a beautiful blessing!

I keep forgetting to post these! We did a fundraiser a while back where several photographers at our church offered a portrait package and 100% of the proceeds went to a single mom in need…the sessions were snatched up rather quickly and Sarah happened to grab mine! Sarah wanted some pics with her sister and her dad, and also some of just her to use for prayer cards and such as she embarks to Asia after this semester. Anyway, we had to reschedule a few times due to crazy winds and freezing temperatures, but we finally got a beautiful day for some beautiful people! Enjoy!

As I sit here at my computer with Athan asleep in his bed and Rogan running back and forth outside the office door getting blocks one by one from the basket to stack on the coffee table, I can’t help but realize how incredibly blessed we are. We moved to Lubbock, where we are blessed to have at least one side of the family around. Then came Rogan, who was a perfect, easy little baby that changed our lives forever. Then came Athan, in the same way as Rogan–so sweet and a super easy baby. We have family that loves us, a bigger house than we thought we’d have(room for having people over!)–for a lower price than we thought we’d be paying, an incredible church family, friends who have become our family, jobs that aren’t going anywhere, safe vehicles that run, plenty to eat, clothes to keep us warm, phones, computers….

Seriously. Each day I am reminded how sinful and broken we are, and yet God chooses to bless us over and over. I have an amazing husband who desperately loves the Lord, provides for our family, and loves us beyond measure. My precious boys are almost too sweet to handle and I can’t thank God enough for such gifts.

And still we(as in ME) forget to spend time with Him, go stretches without reading His Word, take things for granted, pass others by who may be desperate to hear His Good News…we get caught up in the everyday goings-on of this American life and forget who should constantly be the center of it all. I am too often guilty of this and want to be better. I pray that God will give me the discipline to carve time in every day for Him, time to love on others, to memorize His Word, and thank Him each day for all the blessings he has given…

What a wonderful God we serve, who will love us still and take us back no matter how many times we screw up or let Him down…
