Titus | Baby

Some of you may remember Kerrie and Jerred’s wedding that I shot back in November of 08…well now they have a new addition to their family–Titus! This little man is so precious! His hair just makes me smile. :) I can’t believe that he is already 3 months old. Time sure does fly! Here are some of my faves from our session last week….Enjoy!

I couldn’t decide which of these last two I liked best…so I just posted both!

The Beckhams | Family

Last week my schedule got changed around a bit and I called up Becky to see if she’d rather shoot a day early, since the weather on our schedule shoot date was supposed to be pretty windy. We had been trying to get together to shoot since before Christmas, but between the crazy weather and their work schedules, it just hadn’t worked out yet. Man am I glad we shot this day–the weather was PERFECT!! Keith and Becky have 4 super cute kids and let me tell you, it was a job keeping up with all of them!(Especially pregnant!) But they were all great sports and I love how the pictures of all of them together show each of their personalities. Here are some of my faves and I hope yall find some you like! Enjoy!

Hope + Caleb | Post Wedding Shoot

Hope and Caleb returned from their honeymoon last week and we had a shoot before Caleb returned his tux…since it was dark outside after their ceremony, Hope wanted to be sure we had some fabulous pics of the two of them together. The weather was MUCH nicer…a perfect day to shoot–not quite like the freezing temperatures we’d had a week earlier on their wedding day! Here are some of my faves….enjoy!

Hope & Caleb | Wedding Sneak Peek

Hope and Caleb are such a beautiful couple and it was such a pleasure to be able to capture their special day! These two have such a sweet and genuine love and it was plain to see how happy all of their friends and family were for them.  I absolutely loved the purples that Hope chose.  The couple chose not to see each other before the ceremony so that Caleb’s first glimpse was of her coming down the aisle to marry him.  They even waited for their first kiss to be when they were pronounced man and wife! So sweet! There were such meaningful details like the bracelet Hope wore that every woman in her family for generations had worn at their wedding, and a tiny Bible that was wrapped up into her bouquet. Everyone was so much fun the entire day! While the sun was out and there was no rain, it was FREEZING (literally) outside but the wedding party were all troopers and made it outside for some pics before the ceremony. My face and fingers were numb by the time we were all done outside, but it was well worth it. Here’s some faves from the day…and still to come is Hope & Caleb’s post-wedding shoot when they returned from Jamaica! Wish you the best Hope and Caleb! Mason is ONE!!

For those of you who don’t know, I have the most precious God-kids….seriously. Casey is my best friend and her and A.J. had Audrey back when we were in college, then had Kyeler when I was living in NYC, and had Mason right after thanksgiving in 08…I can’t believe how grown up they all are now!  I have loved watching these kids grow and love them as if they were my own. It is so hard to believe that Mason is already ONE….and Audrey is SIX! What in the world! Anyway, I finally made it out to their house after a few failed attempts with bad weather, scheduling, holidays, etc….  I shot some pics of the boys while Audrey was at school and then we had another quick shoot when she got home from school. Hope there’s some you like Casey! I love yall and I’ll come see you soon! Here’s some of my faves….

He'd started walking a little--although I am sure he's all over the place by now!

This is the best we got of all three--ended up that Kye got sick and that's why he wouldn't smile :(

Lincoln | 9 months

If you follow this blog much, you’ve probably seen a few posts of little Lincoln. It was time for his 9 month pics and my how this little man has grown! I couldn’t believe it! We rescheduled his session because it was during that ridiculously COLD weather we had where it was like 20 degrees, and we really wanted to get a few outside. And luckily for us, the day we rescheduled for was perfect! So here’s a few faves of the little man this time around!

This one just cracks me up--looks like he's busting a dance move!

This one we took for Lincoln's dad, Ryan--who had been a seminary student!

Little Kyleigh | 1 yr old

Ok, so this is the most overdue post so far, but better late than never! So my best friend from high school, Kelley, and her husband Kyle and their precious little girl, Kyleigh, came to visit us over the New Year’s holiday! It had been SOOOOO long since Kelley and I had had more than a couple hours to hang out and I hadn’t seen Kyleigh since I took her pics just a few weeks after she was born! She was almost 11 months for these pics…Kelley wanted some cute pics in a tutu to use for her bday party invitations, so we caught Kyleigh at a good time and got some precious photos. She is already walking so keeping up with her in a small studio was quite the task for prego here! Anyway, here are some of my faves! Thank you Kelley and Kyle for coming and spending a few days with us–it was such a treat!  FYI–if any of you need a tutu for your little girl, send me a msg and I’ll put you in touch with Kelley…she MADE Kyleigh’s tutu!

This pic just cracks me up every time I look at it!

Kyleigh realized how cute she was and decided she needed to call her agent! ;)

Get Ready…

Ok, so get ready for a lot of new posts and some BIG news!! There will probably be about 5 or so new posts over the next day or so!

John + Jessica | Couple

If you ever are wondering what you should wear to a shoot, just use this couple as an example! I loved their outfits…the color was just fabulous–especially outside in December when there’s not a lot of color! Jessica and I grew up in the same small town, although I can’t tell  when the last time I saw her was. Her older brother graduated with my younger sister, but we’ve been friends a long time. Anyway, I digress. This was my first time to meet John and let me tell you they are such a delightful couple! Seriously. How cute are they!?! Jessica had sent me a message about having a mini shoot sometime before Christmas, and we had to reschedule a couple times due to the FREEZING weather. Finally this Sunday it was like 70 degrees out! I think it’s been the best shooting day of December so far. We met in Grapevine, since I was going to be there, and it was about a halfway point between the two of us. John and Jessica were so easy to shoot. Relaxed, fun, and totally in love. Have I ever mentioned I love love?! Here ya go guys, hope there’s a good one for your Christmas card!

Amy & Nic | Couple

Saturday was COLD….but what a great time we had! I have known Amy since my freshman year at Tech…she was my next door neighbor in the dorms! I have been taking her and Nic’s pictures for the last couple years and it is always fun. We’d planned on shooting in FW, but I ended up having lunch in Grapevine with my sweet friend Gina, so Nic found a park in Grapevine to shoot at(since it’s closer to them than FW!). Great job Nic! Anyway, found our way down trails and ducked as players frisbee-golfed over our heads!!(Hey, the golf course had some good spots to shoot!) So here’s some faves from the day…Thanks for another fun shoot this year!
